Dusty-Lens: Very good 3D pop and volume rendering. And at a (more or less) decent price. That's a keeper for portraiture if you don't foolishly chase super fast glass.

You forgot ‘microcontrast’. Another unscientific term that means absolutely nothing.

thx1138: As for battery life, Gordon Laing has already reported getting over 2000 shots on a single charge, try that with the R5 despite what the useless CIPA ratings claim.

WHO cares about standardized tests… I bet I can shoot 3000 shots with the R5 … in a row

Mr Bolton: I thought the Noct was also 0.95? Meaning this lens would be tied for the title of fastest FF lens. The price however, is certainly no contest.

neither are the fastest

theBitterFig: Seems like 7Artisans size with (maybe?) better than Samyang/Rokinon image quality, and some electronic perks tossed in. Nice combination. Not worth $700 to me personally, but to each their own. Probably would be a really nice lens to pair with an XPro3, get that "Leica feel" without the same red-dot markup.

sometimes you pay for built quality and good glass without yellow tint…

Can’t see in what situations I take this over a Sigma 150-600mm or if weights a problem I would rather take a m43/apsc system which will give me the same image…

Terrible Photographer: Swing and a miss that it's not FF, what the hell is Nikon thinking? Make a matching special edition Z-to-F adapter, and let people use their classic glass!

Swing and a miss IMO.

yeah gets totally uninteresting with an apsc sensor. Unless Nikon gets out fast apsc lenses too.

LookintotheMirrorlessoften: Once you compare the lenses available for each system you will not compare a fuji gfx to a full frame anymore.

if you like vignette and manual focus and completely miss the point...

Photofrankenstein: I would go R6 with 24-105 and 50RF kit. Really rounded with no major flaw, can use for videos as well. Also a good base to add super wide, L primes, long telephoto, second body paired with RP, another R6, R5, C70. Unlike some systems presented have limited expandability and future proofing.

Some speak from experience, others have to watch youtube to make their opinion. Please take your own advice heartfully, other people have other opinion based on their experience and their needs. Live with it.

And 20mp is fine for web, sports, etc. But for high quality printing, fineart, high quality portrait, living in the year where 8k cameras arrived... it’s just not a good fulfill all needs.

If you don’t need more than 20mp marc than it’s fine. for many of todays work 20mp is limiting for photography.

If you try to convince other people what they need and what they don’t and call them gearheads than the joke is on you.

I print many things and have some very large prints and pixel matters for many reasons.

the R6 isn’t a reliable option for video and 20mp is kinda limiting for photography too.

Bigsensorisbest: Waiting on a review, didn’t like the Sony 200-600mm so hoping this could be better, at least at 500mm

the 200-600g is known for having issues with the a7r4. I had problems to get a tack sharp image on it too. I had to stop down to f8 to get satisfying results.

at least this is much more useful for closer subjects and takes less room in the bag.

crsantin: I had the opportunity to try the Viltrox 23mm 1.4 on my XT-1 for a few days and I was quite impressed with it. I think I may get one of those. This Tokina doesn't look better than the Viltrox.

the latest Viltrox lenses also came out as Tokina shortly after...
