No grip I'm afraid. As I said it doesn't happen very often and intermittent problems can be very hard to correct, I would obviously prefer it if it didn't happen at all!!

Has anyone experienced a problem with the 200-600 seemingly losing connection with the camera? I use this mainly on an A1 and very occasionally the focus locks and won't change and if I turn off ...

I use Panamoz occasionally but nearly always go for E-Infinity. They can be a lot cheaper than Panamoz and their service is excellent. It was a lens from them I had a problem with, they said send ...

Much simpler in the UK, I've been buying 'Grey' cameras and lenses for many years, mainly Nikon but now Sony. I've saved a fortune and only ever had one problem with a lens which Nikon repaired ...

I set up my A1 with Tracking Spot Medium as default. The eye AF for birds on the A1 is brilliant whether in flight or static subjects and some users say tracking isn't needed. My argument is that ...

Depending on distance and type of bird I have tried this and find the Tracking Spot Medium better, I rarely need to change to any other AF mode. Best of both worlds.

I also changed from Nikon (after many, many years), to Sony as I got fed up waiting for Nikon to roll out their new mirrorless lenses. I set up my A1 with Tracking Spot Medium as default. The eye ...

First question is why do you want one? Many people automatically buy a UV or protective filter but modern lens coatings are very good and quite tough nowadays so lenses are easy to keep clean. I ...

Anyone use the KuangRen KX-800 flash for macro? Is it any good?

There is so much emphasis on eye AF nowadays when most of the time face detection is fine. It's so sad that the ability to focus manually has been lost on modern photographers - they wouldn't have ...

Maybe a Sony thing! A year or two ago I asked Nikon (UK) and they were definite that it couldn't be transferred.
-
Just curious as to how you managed a repair under warranty with a s/h lens, normally warranties aren't transferable.

If you are not taking pics of fast sport action or BIF for example then Nikon Z system would be fine, down to personal preference, lens availability and money. Having been a Nikon user for many, ...

It's the right product but the design of the lens does not give enough clearance, the hood bayonet gets in the way so can't screw it in. Normal 82mm filters are fine. Since posting I've discovered ...
