About me:

I started with photography in 2013 summer with Nikon V1. Before Christmas 2013 Sony announced A7, and I bought it right away. I still have and use this A7.
I gave a try to Nikon Df, too, an excellent camera, it was my first camera with optical viewfinder. I used to have Fujifilm X-A1, too, and I loved it. I gave a try to EOS R, but it was below my expectations from a full frame mirrorless camera.
I had the Sony A9 for a year; that was and still is the best camera ever made, but it is very expensive, and eventually I couldn't justify owning such a camera, so I went back to A7 and A5100.
In 2020 after buying a Minolta Dynax 7 film camera, I got its digital sibling a Konica Minolta Dynax 7D (APS-C, 6M CCD DSLR), too. I purchased a couple of A mount lenses: Minolta 28-135f4-4.5, 70-210f4, Konica Minolta DT 18-70f3.5-5.6. At the same time I acquired an LA-EA4 adapter for my A7, actually an excellent combo.
I have two Canon - Sony adapters, Metabones and Sigma MC-11 for my Canon lenses (TS-E 17mm/f4, a favorite, and 100-400f4.5-5.6L).
Along with Dynax 7, I bought a additional film cameras, too: Canon EOS 300X and Nikon F80. I was thinking on EOS 1V, F100, Pentax 645NII, Mamiya 645AFDiii and Dynax 9, but these are terribly expensive (film) cameras.
Since I have a brilliant Nikon 80-200f2.8D, I am planning to buy a D700 either. Canon EF lenses work excellently on Sony cameras with the adapters, but Nikon lenses don't. Unfortunately, Nikon is not willing to make an FTZ adapter to support AF-D screw drive lenses, so the great Z cameras are not on my list. Interestingly, I have zero desire to buy Canon digital cameras, Canon lenses are excellent, but they work brilliantly on Sony, too.
I used to have A9 and I bought an A7III for my daughter. So, a Sony camera (A7RIV or A7C) with image stabilization/anti-shake is on my list for my non stabilized Minolta and Canon lenses.
As for a generic lens for my EOS300X, I am planning to get a Tamron 24-70f2.8G2 since it has image stabilization.
A have two ZEISS A-mount lenses on my wish list, but I am not sure, if I'll ever willing to pay the hefty price for them; since they have no stabilization, an anti-shake Sony is a must with LA-EA4 or LA-EA5 adapter.
