I wouldn't want the Z9 which is why I'm waiting for something smaller from Nikon. 2/3rd stop matters a lot. 100-400mm is too dark with 1.4x TC. With the 400mm f4.5 I still have a very usable 560mm...

That is 1.8kg or 2kg if you factor in the weigth of 1.4xTC and at what cost? Probably twice the amount of Z 400/4.5 if not more. The Z 400mm f4.5 is 1.25KG or 1.16kg without the tripod foot....

I was hoping for something more along the lines of Z400/4.5. Small, light and relatively affordable. This is going to be heavy and expensive :-/

Yep, I actually got my used 135GM for £1300 used a few months after release. I can probably find one for £1100-1200 even now with some patience. Canon is no where close to matching that price.

Sony was $200 cheaper at release and can be had even cheaper now either through discounts and cashbacks or by buying used. Sony also has the option of using Samyang 135mm f1.8 which from what I ...

I recently went on holiday with 24GM, 35GM, sigma 85DN and 70-350mm. I travelled with the A7IV. Was pretty pleased but I am thinking of changing to Tamron 20-40mm f2.8 and tamron 50-400mm for ...

Really hoping to see a 40MP A6XXX body.

@Chris, last time such a zoom was made was the sigma 60-600mm S which is newer and optically better than the "bigma". It's also rather big...
-
I am hoping tamron, sigma and whomever else can release all the lenses they have now on both Nikon and Fuji and also the ones they are designing in the future.
-
Don't really understand what tamron are thinking.... So three lenses are rebadged as nikkors lenses, tamron 70-300mm released for Z-mount and now 150-500mm which is a FF lens released for x-mount...

This is bit of an old camera but the Sony A77II has been my favourite. It lacks some improvements like touchscreen interface but otherwise the body fits like a glove in my hand, great to use and...

Animal eyeAF is better in R5 in terms of finding the eye. On R5 you don't even have to select bird or animal the camera automatically figures it out unlike Sony where you need select bird or ...

I used to own the A7RIV and while the AF was more than adequate it still left a lot to be desired especially for tracking wildlife/birds. R5 got released and tried it and as you R5 was simply ...
