John, The V3 EVF is both bigger and better than the V1, but significantly so, I'm not sure. I think all of the V camera EVF's are pretty good, actually, and never had any problems.
  • I like these attempts at creativity -- reminds me of myself.  :-P Cylinders of pulsating light -- sweet!
  • Thanks!  I'm not a fan of on camera flashes either and seldom use them, but we were underground at the time.  The lights and the flash seemed to work together in my eyes, so I experimented.
  • Without doubt some will like them later as some like them presently.
  • Fabulous exterior designs here.  Cylindrical shapes have an unique appeal all their own.  Thanks for the interesting background information.  Will do some research to learn more.
  • I can understand your reference to woodblock prints. As for the flat light, maybe one reason for this was the N1 flash I used which resulted in a slightly over exposed image.
  • That could be a better title.  I just simple named this Enchanted. As for the name of this post, "Beauty &...", it was in reference to the concept or idea of beauty, not a person.  Sorry if this ...

  • Indeed they do; that's exactly what appears to have happened in your photo above. Are these buildings in Denmark?  Which city?
  • Thanks for sharing!  Libraries are wonderful places.  I agree with you about finding inspiration in books.  Nice photos as well.

You are correct.  They're reflections.  Not superimposed, but super-reflected.  :-P Thanks Andre!

Thanks!  But I'm afraid this wasn't one of those superimposed shots you like so much. I've never tried that as I've never tried experimenting with pp before.  I'm pretty much a OOC person, or Box ...

I wasn't familiar with the Eames House but I'm glad you brought it up.  There are a lot of great architectural designs scattered around L.A., as there are in many other cities too.  Would like to ...

Great job!  You have brought it out of the darkness and into the light.  You sure are a professional adobe user.
  • Thanks for the explanation.  I will do as you advise and stay far far away from this attempt at art or comedy or whatever it was that they were trying to accomplish.  lol

The Pier This is the famous and popular pier in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, for those who are not familiar with southern California.
  • "The Mighty Wind" I am not familiar with.  Actually, the stringed instrument above is an Indian instrument.
