+1 for Picktorial

A very good option from my experience. I find my workflow better with it and sitting down to edit become less of a drag.
Been in contact with their support a few times and they fixed some issues personally. Since then I'm a fan.

This is a huge deal. even if not super duper now, this means a whole lot for our future as a society and for us photographers

Are there any alternatives (good ones, cheaper ones) for this product?

They might have done more, but have they done right? and in the right direction? I doubt it. Time will tell.

Let's wait for the cheaper but not less good alternatives of Xiaomi and Huawei

I keep reading mostly negative things about Luminar, I hope things change for them.

I see Picktorial released a brand new version today, not sure why it's not mentioned on the main page.

QuangFoto: I used the older version and deleted it. I'm trying out this version on my new MacBook Pro this time, and the GUI seems to be buggy.

Here are some UI issues I noticed right away:
1. The default font is huge covering some parts of the UI elements.
2. Clicking on the language dropdown box doesn't do anything.
3. Scrolling the configuration view causes part of the view to disappear for a few seconds.

I removed it. Maybe I'll try again in the future.

pleasure. I'm surprised it doesn't get the attention it really deserves.

After trying all of these, I landed on Picktorial. Worth checking out.

Casey_S: This is quite the ripoff. So many promises and rolled out so slowly. Not only that, they basically charge you every year for it, if you want the update (not really subscription free).

I'd take Picktorial's 1 year old working DAM over this any day.

When a promised update is 2 years late, and in that time you had to purchase updates.. yes, it is a ripoff. Giving now a third of a working DAM for free doesn't count IMHO.

I think this design is really obsolete these days.

Nothing really impressive or innovative in the spec sheet.

I know, but in essence it is.

Bad choice guys. I'd rethink that. Too bad the software isn't so reliable as well.
