Professor999: Just read the 'Control' page & the Cons list;
No dedicated af point control-yes there is, if you want to customise it that way
Nested menus-all cameras have nested menus, otherwise there would be a 100 tabs-once the camera is set up, there's little reason to menu hunt.
2 dials plus an extra one which can set for a number of different functions, green button is customisable. Even the screen is customisable.
All this is written in the section but is listed as a Con.

Rishi: So rephrase "No dedicated af point control" because there IS a dedicated AF Point control and you don't like it and maybe say 'the AF point dedicated control is a disaster ergonomically' that would at least convey what you have conveyed here.

and no K mount for the 50-100mm at launch. Any chances in the future?

These DL's raise very interesting questions in my mind. At what stage/price/functionality/capability/weight and pocketabilty levels would it be better to get these than similar focal length and brightness lenses?

Yes the lenses are for forever but digital cameras have already in some people's books or will soon enough reach levels where the additional improvement in the end result photo would probably come from technique than technology particularly for amateurs and enthusiasts.

cast iron head: Is the intervalometer functionality for time lapse photography built in? If yes I would be interested in

1. available both in RAW and JPEG?
2. how many images in both scenarios?
3. any bundled SW to process them?
4. battery consumption stats around it?

Thank you!
4k time lapse in camera. Nice

I am most excited about the Astro tracer feature in this camera. Its clever implementation using sensor shift and GPS would remove the star trails and allow for longer exposures.

Wide angle lenses typically handle this issue better. Now, with the full frame capability, my widest lenses on Pentax would be 1.5 times wider.

Plus the higher ISO capabilities of this camera would remove the graininess from my pictures. Like the one featured here that keeps annoying me. http://outofoffice.me/index.php/2016/02/18/a-click-is-worth-a-billion-stars/

Overall for Astrophotography and for its price it seems to be a steal.
