The build quality of this lens is perfectly adequate for the intended target market of this lens which is the amateur/hobby photographer.

Commented on article Nikon Z9 review: a DSLR-like stills/video monster

I would prefer the option of adding a vertical grip when required. This allows you to run a more compact rig. I really like the Z9 but with the Nikon 50/1.2, the combo is a behemoth.
