Adam Sharp: Not as good as a Nikon 😜

For the price I agree against the D810. Adam I hope your pictures are 'Sharp' all the time ;-)

russbarnes: Canon's pricing is utterly, utterly out of control. A tiny number of people will pre-order this in the UK.

I agree, but the first buyers at this price will be getting the VAT back (business owners), therefore costing them £2999.00 ext VAT and the wealthy amateurs. Once they have used up this level of penetration, then they will drop the price slowly in segments. For me at the £3,599 price you are so close to the cost of the 1DX MKII it makes you think before you part with your cash.

Before the Canon 1DX MKII was released in the UK, Canon did road shows at different camera dealers around the UK. They had two professional Canon users showing their experiences using the Canon 1DX and past knowledge. www.cliftoncameras.co.uk/Canon-2016-Roadshow
Eddie Keogh, was one of them, he explained working for Reuters, that there would be, between 10-12 Pro photographers on and around the track for the 100-200 meters races, at all different places. It was one of the most important events for Reuters as it gains so much attraction worldwide. So seeing these photos, I wasn't surprised that they achieved these great shots. What also was impressive was the speed these photos get sent track side to print or published to be first.

AJG: I'd like to know which photo is the Canon 1DX MKII and which is the Nikon D5, I'm going with the first photo as the Canon 1DX MKII, as it just looks better quality ;-)

@madeinlisboa. Incorrect to your reply, I just have a sense of humour (British Humour) hence the ;-) wink in the smile at the end of my comment. But you wouldn't get that. I'm happy with my sense of humour, as its afforded me the camera in question. Happy photographing @madeinlisboa ;-) Thanks @junk1 for commonsense.

"What's your experience? Have a favorite feature or surprise from this camera?"

As said above, I do know this, it cost as much as a good used car, thanks for the reminder ;-) and it not a surprise either.

FLruckas: Why just pictures of Canon and Nikon bodies?

They should have had at least one picture of a Sony camera.

Those Sony people will buy anything!

:-)

"Why just pictures of Canon and Nikon bodies?"

Maybe because its a bag for pros ;-) And they think that is what they use :-)

Glad I've got CS6 Suite, but last time. No chance on CC. I bet the CS6 Suite's packages will sell out fast. Now if they go with Lightroom CC as well and no stand alone package. I will removed adobe from my pc's and mac's for good! I shall start using Aperture, that I have and never used.
