Yes, I live on a planet where the objects in the sky don't move but the planet does. A brilliant depiction of reality.

Ah... this takes me back to the days when I converted my lounge room into a studio and shot with the old Bronica EC-TL, a single studio strobe and brolly, a reflector, an optical slave and off-camera electronic flash mounted on a home-made wooden stand. Those session were such fun and produced some of my best work in the 1980s.

It is an excellent suggestion that more camera manufacturers should implement. According to Chris it's not a difficult thing to do. My question : Is it something that can be done in a firmware upgrade? I'm guessing it is, but I wonder how many camera makers will decide not to go down that path because they figure they can make a bigger profit by releasing it as a new feature in their brand new model. The bottom line is if you can communicate with the lens, you can do this. So there's no excuse.

And for those folks who don't think it's a good idea -- don't use it.

janist74: No EVF, no IBIS, no dual cards,.. ok for me, IF it has the right price tag. AND Sigma make a promise, that we get a nice small 28mm next year.
But let`s see the reviews first! :)

ps.: I read nowhere about the availability date...

According to Sigma there is an image stabilization system in the fp camera. Have look at the specs:
under 'Image Stabilization'.

Yes, why do we seem to get so much joy out of torturing fish? Would we be just as happy to see photos of our cats or dogs with hooks in their mouths? I paraphrase: "For Man shall have dominion over the animals." Were we given God's permission?

I feel for him. have a 'Creative Edit' category that would embrace his work. And there are some very fine photographers/artists and images on that site.
Edit: I just check and Michal Karcz does post on 1.x.

This is obviously a copyright infringement and if it's not overturned then it will set a massive precedent that will be another nail in the coffin of both copyright law and IP. Every photographer who produces work for money - and even amateurs should be protesting this.

Very nicely done. I wonder how many people completely missed the point or simply didn't understand? And who was Orson Welles anyway...?
