Don’t know if this will answer your question, but I import my Ricoh dng’s to Lr, mostly just use “auto” correct, and the results are great!

I keep my GRII in a nylon, drawstring sac when not in my hand.  Take pictures, lots of pictures and don’t worry about dust.  If, and that’s a big, if, dust that you can detect visually on a photo ...

So, here goes... SS 1/3200 f7.1 iso 6400 Nothing appears to be in focus I’ll let others take it from here. Maybe you should  just set the camera on auto.

Not that I've tried this, but you could, if you have one, is try holding an ultrasonic toothbrush along side the lens to see if that will budge the dust to the side, and out of the way.  Just ...

Buy the 40-150 f2.8 Pro.  Stick that on one of your cameras, and the 12-40 f2.8 on the other camera.  If you need a slightly larger camera bag to carry both cameras, factor in that cost, too. Now ...
