Mine did the same thing. And then I read somewhere to delete tha app and reinstall. I also deleted all the previous pairing in my iPhone. It then synced right up. It it seems to work better and ...

Much better than the Lieca samples. But still a novelty more than anything else. Why anyone would spend so much money on what is basically a horrible lens is beyond me.

The most over hyped joke I’ve ever seen. Ridiculous.

Because I don’t need to. It works fine in my D610 where it stays all the time. I have 4 of the newer models I use in my D500 and D810.

No dice. I just tried a fully charged older battery, which shows fully charged in my D600, in the MB-D17 and it behaves the same as putting it in the D500 battery bay. It reports only about 1/2 ...

Picking a favorite lense is like picking a favorite child. If I had to pick one, it would be one I never would have thought I’d pick. I even started a thread asking “why isn’t this lens better”, ...

This is not suppose to be a comparison of sharpness or resolution but rather of color, contrast, pop or whatever else goes into making an image. The comparison shots were shot at the same ...

Beautiful photo! So far I’m liking what I’m experiencing with it. I’ve been experimenting with focusing in Live View and with the green dot in the viewfinder. I was concerned about focus ...

I locked the aperture ring at F22 and it behaves like it should. The only difference Is no AF.

It didn't take me long to realize I need to go to Walmart for more powerful reading glasses for focusing. :)

Huh? I’m no expert. But even I know night sky’s ain’t what the D5 was created for.

Sounds to me like you have your #1 go to lense. The 50 1.8G is a wonderful lense. I too sometimes wish for a 35 of the same caliber and the 1.8G may be it, I haven’t tried it yet. But it seems when ...

I wish I could say the same. I’m using the same cards. They write fine with no problems but will lock up the camera when reviewing images. Same with original and updated firmware.
-
Hopefully they fixed the D850 so it doesn’t freeze up with fast SD cards. Since they haven’t issued a fix yet, that actually works, for the D500 yet I’m doubtful.
-
It’s not a matter of how much you can stuff on one card. When you reach the point of “fork I’d hate to loose those photos” they’s when you pull that one out and stick in another.
-
I seem to remember an online review stating that the lense would even accept stacked filters without problems. Google reviews. If you don't need the super slim ones the standard thickness is much ...

Thanks but that's too big and heavy for my needs. And I like to use a polirizer.

Thanks for suggesting the 50mm. I hadn't thought about how small and light the little 1.8 is. It will fit nicely in the bag with the 24 1.8 on the camera.

I think you nailed it. I'm going to the Air Museum at Eglin AFB, Fl in a few days. From what I've seen online even the outside exhibits are fairly close together. Two lense I have to consider iare ...
