Wouldn't be opposed to a 2.8.
-
I think that would complement my 15-45 really nicely.

My bad. I never even noticed the lever. Thanks.

Just going through my menus and can't figure out what to check in the Custom Function III 3 window - Operation/Others Multi function lock. There's 3 items to check or not check - - Main Dial - ...

Just ordered the M50/15-45 kit lens for mostly video and can see maybe one day complementing that with it's full-frame counterpart. For now it's the 6D/M50 combo; with the 6D being just a dream ...

Wouldn't necessarily be a waste, but my rationale was that I have the 135 and use it whenever I can. My general photography lens is a 50 1.2. I'd like to get the 85 1.2, but tend to use the 50 ...

Thanks. Maybe just the kit lens, call it a day and I use my 6D/L Lenses anyway for stills so the zoom might be "best" for video (IS, zoom, etc.).
-
So if it were you and, at least for now, most video would be in a controlled setting (and the M50 used for mostly or entirely video) would you say the kit lens or the 32 1.4? All recording would ...

Thanks. Just download from SD card, but I like the way that the Canon Utility directs it right to My Pictures. From a reader it seems to put it somewhere in multiple layers of some sort and it's ...

If one were to get an M50 and the correct USB cable would downloading video (and pics) be just like any other Canon DSLR if they already have the Canon Utility on their desktop? Thanks.
-
Thanks. Definitely 1080P and just myself in front of the camera for now.

For someone who might get the M50 for video (to complement their 6D; used for pics) would you say to just get it with the kit 15-45 lens and call it a day? Thanks.
-
I've only downloaded pics from a cable. I think the M50 requires a card reader. Is that a hassle in any way? I'm actually a really good photographer and fear that I just asked the most "rookie" ...

I have an original 6D which is maybe the best camera I'll ever own. It's perfect and is all I need. For my burgeoning video career, though, an articulating screen and good auto-focus/tracking ...

Speaking of that - Here's my "Italy" pics all taken with just the 40mm pancake as well - https://www.flickr.com/photos/corysteiner/albums/72157701119935752 :-)

Do you feel like the 85 1.8 is a nice complement to the 135 or do you typically gravitate towards the 135 (or 50)? Thanks.

...I can now die. Life is complete.

...that the 50L is "better" for portraits and the Sigma "better" for everything else? Just did a set of my first portraits and group shots with the 50L and they are silly. Had the Sigma Art and it ...

My bad. Flash not on camera. It was a strobe, though, to really top it off. Kind of a big step for me. Thanks for asking.
