I doubt (hope) it's a faulty light meter as my previous film was correctly exposed. The lab have the negs. Im pretty sure that I changed the iso on the camera too. But will check later.

Yes I would have always used f8 or f11.

Thanks, I completely understand. However I suspect that even with 1:1 magnification, I will get soft images as with 1:2 as I have been using.

The photo I posted was just from Google. I dont have my own lens at hand. Silly question but should I be using the macro adapter with it??. I thought it was a macro lens by itself?
