brownie314: Do they make cranks to start cars as well?
Says the man named Brownie.
Bigsensorisbest: I've dozens of collectors film cameras as I love them, many pro slrs, nikon F F2 variants, canon eos 1 varients, F1n, four Canon A-1 cameras, 10 x Mamiya 6x7 rb and rz cameras all the variants including gold and lizard coated, leica MA and I'd currently never consider using any of them I just can't see the point now, they are just to look at and fondle occasionally, I suppose we all enjoy them in different ways
Big Sensor- photography. You should try it.

It just seems like a waste. Cameras are beautiful yes, but they are meant be used. It's like the guy who keeps his vintage car in his garage and never drives it, it's pointless. If I don't use a particular camera I sell it to someone who will.

What a massive waste of money.

Yeah, you get the idea....

OK, it's like putting on plastic hub caps.
That's like putting hub caps on a Rolls Royce.
From a design perspective, its outstanding.
FujifilmXT3: Truly a waste of time and energy
Yes Fuji, I agree. Instead you could be out taking sunsets with your XT3 and posting them on FB for likes!!!
Vincenco: Awful.
Ive been constructing that comment for months!

This comment is everything I hate about photography.
15 and 5 are great photos.
snapa: Number 10 'Selfhood' is a portrait. That is the worst picture, by far for soooo many reasons.
If that rock was within a landsacape, of course. Anyway, get back to your reading!

... That you fail to mention.
PNWtony: I bought a Minolta XD-5 with a f.14 50mm lens for $115 off e-bay. Popped in a new battery and it works great. I added a grip and it totally transformed how the camera feels, makes it more more ergonomic.
Interesting, I have an xd5. Which battery grip did you get?. Are you talking about the power winder?
The truth is any of the listed cameras would be suitable for a beginner. Its just a matter of learning where the controls are. Each are simple to operate.
