davel33's current gear

Canon EOS R
Canon EOS R6
Canon EF 16-35mm F4L IS USM
Its not a speed body but for landscape and portraits its GREAT :)
For the times I need speed/ low light its my goto body.
This lens is nothing short of Amazing :) I cant say enough great things about it.
Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM
Canon RF 24-105mm F4L IS USM
Canon RF 24-240mm F4-6.3 IS USM
This is a great lens, I enjoy using it :) I use the "Kenko Teleplus HDpro 1.4x - 2.0x" with it. They work every well together, makes the 70-300 into a 100-420mm or 140mm-600mm.
The RF 24-105 L is a GREAT lens. The focus is lighting fast and IS is 5 stops, awesome for an old man :) The IQ is very good from 24-105.
The focus on this is VERY fast and dead on and 5 stop of IS is great for an old man :)
Canon RF 35mm F1.8 IS STM Macro
Canon RF 50mm F1.8 STM
Canon RF 70-200 F4L IS USM
This lens on the R/R6 is awesome, great pics, I was stunned the first time I used it :)
I am starting to like this lens on my R6
This is a really AWESOME lens that is a pleasure to use :)
Canon RF 85mm F2 Macro IS STM
A very good 85mm lens that has very nice bokeh. Focus is not what you would call FAST but it gets the job done and is dead on with my R/R6.

Canon PowerShot S400 (Digital IXUS 400)
Canon PowerShot G1 X
Canon EOS 30D
Canon EOS 300D (EOS Digital Rebel / EOS Kiss Digital)
Canon EOS 350D (EOS Digital Rebel XT / EOS Kiss Digital N)
Canon EOS 7D
Power up took FOREVER :(
AWESOME camera for its time
Canon EOS Rebel SL1 (EOS 100D)
Canon EOS 70D
Canon EOS 7D Mark II
Great little DLSR, would still have but gave it to my daughter :) Her husband shoots Nikon :(
Canon EOS M5
Canon EF 28mm f/1.8 USM
Canon EF 85mm F1.8 USM
A very good small camera but with a few problems. Had focus problems with aftermarket lenses. Was very slow with flash in low light to the point it was unusable.
The worst lens I have ever owned :(
A great bang for the buck lens with a few minor problems.
Canon EF-S 10-22mm F3.5-4.5 USM
Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM
Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
Sigma 50mm F1.4 EX DG HSM
Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 EX DG HSM
Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM
I used this for 6 years. Was a great lens for event shooting :)
The copy I bought was somewhat sharp but after the recall, the copy I got back was no where near as good :(
Canon EF 70-200mm F4L IS USM
Sigma 50-150mm F2.8 EX DC APO OS HSM
Canon EF-S 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 IS STM
AWESOME lens for a crop :)
Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM
Canon EF-M 22mm f/2 STM
Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG HSM Art
So so lens but no place to put my left hand :)
Liked this lens a lot but with the 18-35 1.8 (which is sharper) and the Tamron SP 35 , I did not need this lens.
Canon EF 35mm F2 IS USM
Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM Art
Canon EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM
This was a great lens at the FL I wanted but I needed a whether resistant lens. My voyage of discovery for the perfect 35 for me started with the 35A then EF 35 IS next Trmron 35 SP ending with the RF 35 :)
This was an awesome lens but I moved to FF :(
Sigma 50mm F1.4 DG HSM Art
Canon EF-S 10-18mm F4.5–5.6 IS STM
Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM | C
I really loved this lens but I never used it enough to justify the cost.
Not a bad lens but the 18 on the long end was to short which means a lot of lens changes.
This was great lens but did not get enough use :(
Canon EF 50mm F1.8 STM
Tamron SP 35mm F1.8 Di VC USD
Canon EF-M 15-45mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM
Using a lens that needed an adapter that cost as much as the lens and doubles the size and weight just felt wrong :(
Very good lens but on an EOS R it was x2 (with adapter) the size and weight of the RF 35.
Sigma 50-100mm F1.8 DC HSM Art
Canon EF 24-105mm F4L IS II USM
Canon EF-M 18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM
Great lens but retired and don't have a use for it now. Sharpest lens I have ever owned.
Sigma 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM
Canon EF 85mm F1.4L IS USM
Tamron 100-400mm F4.5-6.3 Di VC USD
It is a very good lens just not as good as the Tamron. The killer for me was very limited weather resistance :(
Great lens but sold it to help pay for the RF 70-200 f4 :)
