All Cameras need computers not just cellphones.

Canon probably feel like it needs to slow Sony down but I just don't believe that Canon is going to produce a camera for me, anytime soon. But I really hope I'm wrong.

Yes you are exactly right, if they installed enough computing power and great software, the results would be great.

I hope some camera company starts using software very soon. Not the crippled software.  real software.
