On article Sony a9 Full Review: Mirrorless Redefined (2675 comments in total)

I got an a9 and 3 lenses on loan. It is quite a camera, silent operation is great. Unfortunately, even with the battery grip it is far too small to operate comfortably with my big hands. There is literally no place to put the middle finger on my right hand. I cannot believe that there are no buttons at all on the front of the camera. Now there is a reason Canon and Nikon pro bodies are similar size to each other...to enough space to lay out controls for all day comfort, as well as easy operation with gloves. Having the additional size makes the operation of the tech cooler and provides space for a battery that can run all day without thinking about it... My only other complaint is the use of SD cards, Sony should have used their own superior XQD cards for faster and more reliable operation.
I would love to have a silent shutter and no blackout operation. If Sony made the physical design pro size, and had real native super teles as good as Nikon/Canon, they could lock up the market.
