I’m not sure I understand it right I’m afraid. I have an Olympus 12-100 F/4 PRO. Can I use one of these magnetic filters with the lens hood!
-
So if I understand it right, there’s no way to use magnetic filters with a hood. That’s pretty unfortunate for me.

I currently have two lenses, with 72 and 58 mm diameter respectively. Is there some kind of adapter that can be used, or do I need to buy two different ND filters?

...plus my E-M5 III doesn't feature Live ND. Personally I don't find the results with Live Comp ugly as everyone here believes.
-
Have you got advice on any specific product?

I saw in several OM youtube videos they use live comp e.g. for clouds moving with wind.

I’d like to get an ND filter for shooting Live Composite with daylight . What do I need? -- https://www.youtube.com/@solitone

I’ve heard of UniWB in this thread for the 1st time. How can I do it on an Oly E-M5 III ? I can’t understand the discussion on the OM-1 subthread, and don’t know whether it’s relevant for my E-M5.

Yes, sure I can open with OM Workspace and see the difference and also change mode. However this does not mean that those settings are embedded in the raw data—just the metadata as someone else wrote.

I’m after a couple of cheap silicone lens caps for my Olympus 12-100 f/4 Pro lens, one that fits the lens without hood, the other with hood. Any suggestion? I’d need the same also for my smaller ...

So are you basically saying that if a shot two pics with two different modes, and I open them in darktable or lightroom, I end up with two raw files with different data?
-
Well, in fact I was referring to that snapshot, specifically to the section underlined in red. While at 30fps that table specify 23 as maximum recordable frames, which is more or less consistent to ...

Or if I activate lens correction in darktable, which I always do. Now I understand why that module is so important.

Good to know. I was totally unaware of all this.

??? My results totally overlap with AussilPhil's, so your point is unclear to me. My issue is with Olympus' specs, not with AussiePhil numbers, which are consistent with mine.
-
I confirm this. With high setting (H), I get 17 frames before filling the overall buffer, independently of the frame rate (30, 20, or 15 fps). With low setting (L) I end up with 18 frames. I don’t ...

Perhaps I was unclear, but my goal is not having optimal jpegs out of camera, but raws with the maximum amount of data possible. The histogram as well as the highlight clipping indicator you’re ...
