They still trail Sony in autofocus. The latest generation bodies and their new 1.4 primes with linear motors are better but still not as good as Sony. The optical quality of the new 1.4 primes are ...

I can’t stand that from YouTubers. They pretend they get a fact wrong or just purposely say the wrong thing just to get viewers to comment to raise engagement. Very manipulative behavior.

I would expect the A1, A7IV, and A7RV to all be very similar in this regard.

DeepPrime was already better. From my experience with Sony raws XD is better. It’s great to see XD for Fuji.

I’d love to see it but I don’t think everything from the x-h2s will fit into the X-T5 sized frame. Making the X-T5 any larger would ruin part of the beauty of the X-T5.

A lot of good feedback here. First you have to think of your use cases. What would you use the focal length for? When I go anywhere with the camera I ask myself what kind of images am I capturing? ...

I agree with both your points. DxO has some opportunity there.

I think this is the most relevant feedback I've seen on this lens as it relates to autofocus. The 56 f1.2 is one of the worst (if not the worst) Fuji lens when it comes to autofocus speed. I've ...

I’ve used Capture One Pro for years with Fuji and Sony raws. I’ve recently switched to using DxO Photolab first and foremost. I prefer the color with images taken in less than perfect light and ...

I would probably buy this camera too. I have zero interest in the X-H line.

I don't think they ever will. IIRC Sony does the same thing as Canon with their smaller raw files. They demosaic them first and then downsize them. So you no longer have a RAW file that DxO can ...

The raw data influences what can be done with the color profile. Which would be the starting point with color in a raw processor. But the OP is concerned with color and from my experience the raw ...

My post is about the difference I experienced working with the raw data between different camera bodies. This thread is about the difference in color between camera bodies. My feedback is ...

I had two copies of the Viltrox 13mm and both were soft wide open which is contrary to what many have posted around the internet. So there appears to be some copy variation on that lens. I want ...

Reading through this thread and comments on the A1 made me recall some of the Sony launch videos on the A1. They were stating how the new processor was such a big upgrade and that there was quite a ...

I was referring to the matrix and lut optimization steps of this Lumariver workflow . Look at matrix and lut optimization steps in the Lumariver doc I referenced above. These steps were far easier ...

I don’t disagree in general but it does affect raw as well. I’ve been making my own camera profiles using dcamprof and Lumariver to work with the raw files coming out of these cameras. Shooting ...
