I am looking forward to trying this one out.

I have a post on my travel/review blog which may interest you. It's from when I got my old X-Pro1 back. I've been a long-time X-Pro2 shooter now. X-Pro1 Review

Great read, thanks. I had a somewhat similar experience when I repurchased my X-Pro1 recently. G.A.S. is hard to fight though :)

Hi Brian. For what it's worth I did a review on the X-H1 here if you are interested: Fujifilm X-H1 Review

As a long-time X-Pro2 user, I just received my X-E4 last week and my first impressions are very good. It's still early in the game. I have used the X-Pro2 extensively over the past few years, ...

I have used the XF 14mm f/2.8 extensively over the last few years with my X-Pro2, especially for travel but also interior photography. The XF 16mm f/1.4 is larger but certainly a nice option as ...

Thanks, Randy, much appreciated.

It will be hard to resist this one. Count me in :)

I got mine here in Vancouver, Canada. I am coming from years of shooting X-Pro cameras but finding the X-E4 very responsive and perhaps even of better build quality than I had expected. If you are ...

Hi Bryce :) You cannot go wrong with the XF 35mm f/1.4 R. I would get this first and then perhaps wait for the XF 18mm f/1.4 release.

And apparently, Capture One Express has been updated as well.

I go through the same train of thought sometimes and understand where you are coming from. I have seriously considered the X100V but have still resisted. I also have the XF 23mm f/1.4 the size ...

Some interesting guesses in this thread :) A 90mm f/1.4 would be big/heavy/expensive and the f/2 is very good as it is. A 70mm f/1.4 I think may be unlikely, but who knows. 105mm in full-frame terms. ...

I think the XF 35mm f/2 would pair nicely with your 18-55mm but it does of course depend on which focal length you gravitate towards. I will link to a review here from the XF 35mm if you are ...

If you like the good quality feel of gear and having the aperture ring on the lens my vote would be for the XF 35m f/2. I have reviewed it here if you are interested: https://www.5050travelog.com/c ...

I'm considering it but still on the fence. Would like to rent it first.

If you are drawn to the design and compactness of the X100V, I can't blame you but perhaps if you can't wait a little while longer the X-E4 may give you what you want. It will still be compact but ...

Congrats... great update. good read.

The 56mm f/1.2 is great focal length and you will enjoy that max f/stop. I have the 90mm also and have tried the 56mm a few times now. AF is slower and will occasionally hunt a bit but depending ...
