Correct! I agree. I would go for 14mm or 16mm or UWA zoom

How do you like autofocus in Panasonic bodies with Canon adapted lenses, as it has no PDAF? I like Panasonic cameras, but I have heard recently that they don't have PDAF. I was thinking about ...

There could be few versions of A9, like in case of A7. A9 could be still 24 (or little more) MPIX, and new A9R might have 40, 50 or more MPIX.

Nice pics. In most cases Sigmas are better than Tamrons, but it comes with price. So comparing both we should ask ourselves for budget limit and/or which is better value for money. Not which lens ...

I would add to the list webpage: "Optical Limits" which have tested Sigma thoroughly.

I think Tamron is more than good. Optically you get good results, range is OK, IQ very nice, and price is OK. Sigma is even better, but you have to pay for it. Better range - it is always better ...

It works quite good. I mean for static shots AF is OK, but only outdoors and in good light conditions. Indoors AF is often not acceptable.

I have heard that Zeiss 55 is very very good, if you look for images on Flickr, you'll see it is true. This is recommended lens with this FL. But Samyang is much cheaper, I have got SY 45 :), ...

I think this lens is not bad. Not excellent, but not bad. Newer, native, Tamron 70-180 gives better IQ, but cost three times more. So this is budget lens.AF is good in good light conditions, VC is ...

Don't worry, both are very good :)

Yes, I meant newer lenses from Contemporary / Art / Sport series. For APS-C, Sigma 60 2.8 is excellent lens and have cost only $200. It is the best APS-C lens I have ever had.

Hi. Today I have made few "test" shots outdoors using MC-11 and Tamron 70-210 F4. I had only 40 minutes and made 40+ photos. I uploaded here just few to show how this lens perform and to get from ...

In my opinion, Sigma never dissapoints, this are really good lenses.

Me too, I like their tests of photo gear.

Yes, having attached good zoom to camera we sometimes forget about primes in a photo bag. It is convenient and comfortable to use zooms, sometimes it is just laziness :) But I like primes, these ...

Having 45mm I don't know if I still need 35 mm :) But especially 24/3.5 sounds interesting to me.

Of course, I will upload few images here. I have this Samyang from 2-3 hours only, but what I can say now: It is nice build, very compact (I should say "tiny") and looks good on A7 series. ...

Not the Canons and not the Tamrons. Other than Sigma SGV lenses work good or enough good at newer cameras, like A7M2 and newer.

You must have strong arm :) This is big and heavy lens. The camera is only small addition to this lens :) Like a lens cap. But your choice is very good, this combo is very good and produces in ...
