StevenE: People question m4/3 format for good reason when we see lenses like this at US$1300.
This is equivalent to a FF 24 f/2.8, which can be had for Canon at US$550, less than half the price and it is smaller and lighter. Even more significantly, you can get a FF 24mm f/1.4 from Sigma for US$850, that's a US$450 savings, and there is, and likely never will be, a m4/3 equivalent to that!
So, although it has it's uses, micro 4/3 is a compromised format

"This is equivalent to a FF 24 f/2.8"
Equivalent for depht of lied, but not for light transmission...

And franquly, the purpose of a wide angle lens is not to produce bokeh...

Now, please Ricoh, could you put a 1 inch sensor and a EVF in a Q ?
Instant buy for me...

Gesture: The real challenge. Don't rush the production. Make sure quality is as good as possible. Pentax doesn't want an "issue." I think they understand that.

I suppose than Pentax is the company which had the most time to spend to prepare their full frame DSLR...

Geoff F: I'd suppose that there wouldn't be any point in using this pixel shift during flash photography as the flash duration would be much shorter than the shutter exposure (i'm thinking primarily of dragging the shutter shots which I use a lot of for directional light during wedding shoots).

Intereting, i'm curious to know how Ps performs with flashes too.

However, the lens options aren't that great.
Hopefully it will get some better support

What is you specifical need of lenses ?

FastGlassLover: To the people always loudly expressing that they won't touch manual lenses; auto focus is no different than any other "auto" mode on any device. Something that can be very useful, but if relied on will handicap your mastery.

Avoid manual lenses all you want, no one cares that you're limiting yourself.

On a FF camera, at 15mm f8, hyperfocal distance is 0.95m (3.13 feets), so everything is on focus from 0.475cm (1.65 feets) to infinite.
There is no focus issue with this kind of UWA lens.

(at f2.4, 1.5m /5.2feets to infinite...)

And to mention than the CAnon 85 f1.2 is considered to be one of the best Canon lens...

AS Ken rockwell said about image quality of the 85 f1.2 MK2
(...) Exquisitely sharp and contrasty, even wide open, even in the corners, and even on full-frame,(...)

I guess canon users are not very demanding.

Go Pentax, Go Samsung, Go Sony!

(...)They lack a consistent Lens range fully compatible with this body ? (...)
You mean Sony, right ?

No wide angle ? Of course, but what about the new 15-30 f2.8 ?

85mlm ? Yep, but there is a fantastic 77mm, and there is a vintage AF Pentax 85f1.4 lens than outperforms today CAnikon's 85mm if you want, just one of the best 85mm ever made... (and i forgot the 85 f1.4 by Samyang)

http://www.pentaxforums.com/lensreviews/SMC-Pentax-FA-Star-85mm-F1.4-Lens.html

Too bad for you da300 f4 is FF compatible (see the DPR table about lens compatibility in another article)

There is a 180mm Sigma macro Lens for Pentax.

Something else ?

MikeF4Black: Manual focus? What was Voigtlander thinking?

Focusing with such focals is not really a problem.
For example, at 10mm f5.6,on a FF, hyperfocal is about 0.6m, wich means than everything is in focus from 0.3cm to infinity...
You just have to put the focus ring at inginity, and you're good.
