About me:

I began shooting with an old Brownie Box as a kid in the early 70s, moved quickly through 126 and 110 formats to 35mm with an OM-2 for my high school darkroom club, followed by an OM-10, OM-1 and OM-4T. I bought my wife a Stylus Epic when our daughter was born, which produce lots of great photos, and then moved her into digital with a D560Z P&S in 2004, and since then a variety of Canon, Sony and Olympus P&S models. I followed in 2009 with my first DSLR, the Olympus E-410. In 2014, I moved to micro four thirds with the E-M5 and E-PM2. Currently enjoy using the Olympus 12-40/2.8, 7-14/2.8, Bower/Samyang 7.5mm fisheye, 40-150R, Lumix 12-32, along with a handful of legacy FF lenses such as the OM 55/1.2 and similar from the 60s and 70s.

I enjoy nature, macro and portrait photography.

Olympus Stylus 5010 (mju 5010)
Olympus Stylus Tough 3000 (mju Tough 3000)
Olympus E-410 (EVOLT E-410)
First DSLR. Sold it. Great camera!
Olympus OM-D E-M5
Olympus OM-D E-M5 II
Olympus PEN E-PM2
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 14-42mm 1:3.5-5.6 II R
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 17mm 1:2.8 Pancake
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm 1:2.8 PRO
Rarely use this since getting the 12-32. Quite sharp, but I prefer 12mm wide.
Sold in favour of 12-32. Nice size, but soft, slow and high CA.
The best all-round zoom I've owned. Sharp wide open, ultra fast focus. Stays on E-M5 95% of time.
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-50mm 1:3.5-6.3 EZ
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm 1:4-5.6 R
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 7-14mm F2.8 PRO
Sold it. Too long, too slow, and not very sharp or contrasty. 12-40/2.8 is same length and better in every way, except weight.
Olympus Zuiko Digital 14-54mm 1:2.8-3.5
Olympus Zuiko Digital 35mm 1:3.5 Macro
Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm 1:3.5-5.6
Would rate higher on FT, but slow to focus on E-M5. Very nice to use on FT bodies.
Sold it. Quite sharp, but awkward FL for macro, too slow for general use.
Sold it with my E-410. Nice lens, good sharpness and contrast.
Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm 1:4.0-5.6
Panasonic Lumix G 25mm F1.7 ASPH
Panasonic Lumix G Vario HD 12-32mm F3.5-5.6 Mega OIS
Sold it with my E-410. Nice lens, good sharpness and contrast.
Got this at the $99 pre-order price, good performance for the price, but just wasn't using it. Sold.
My copy misses focus sometimes. Otherwise a nice little lens. Smallest 12mm option by a long shot.
