Do you get the same image if you download the SD card as that on the LCD? Have you tried another/ new SD card out of interest?

I think they both use the same Sony sensor? If not very similar. 1". Others on this forum will confirm that. The G5X is versatile with the EVF and articulating LCD which are big bonuses the RX100 ...

These are some really nice shots with rich warm colours. The last city sky shot is particularly good and a great capture. Keep posting shots as really interested to see how you progess with the G1X. ...

Take the photo, then go into playback mode to view the still photo just taken, then use the zoom lever to zoom in and out of photo to check focus....same on a Canons
