Thanks for keeping us informed and glad to hear it is all fixed now!

But the OP already has a 27mm lens with f/2.8 aperture and is looking for a lens around the same focal length, but with a wider aperture... Like f/2.0 or f/1.4.

I've never heard of "Exascend" either, but they are sold at BHPhoto and have a review on PetaPixel so I guess they're a legit brand, not one of scams which seems to become prevalent with SSD drives! ...

Beautiful night-shots, beautiful muted colours!

I really like the 1st and the 4th. Beautiful shots.

Hi, I just accidentally ran into a YouTube video which says that video AF has improved: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91O33MvBIcM From Andrei Dima (had not heard of him before).

If you want auto focus, I would recommend the 30mm macro lens. It has relatively fast and reliable autofocus, also on the older bodies, and it is lightweight and relatively cheap. Drawback: to get ...

Very nice shot! I like it!
-
But it does mean you can stop your subscription, and keep access to the software. And you should be eligible for bugfixes on that version . So to me this is still a relatively OK way to handle ...

Yes the U-points are indeed quite OK once one figures out how to use them, and I like that you can put multiple on the same layer. But drawing masks with a brush works poor in DxO; adding mulitple ...

That is indeed very valuable in CaptureOne and I do use these features. Masking in DxO is very weak, for me, in comparison to CaptureOne and other tools.

hi Truman, I don't use Lightoom, but I see plenty of photographers using Lightroom, and they all use layers and these days, even with quite advanced masking tools - more advanced than CaptureOne has! ...

I think that a lot of the functionality of Viewpoint is already included in DxO PL 6?

Just wondering -- do you have the Fuji Auto-DR or DR400 / DR800 modes enabled on your camera? This feature gives you extra DR in JPEGs by basically shooting at lower ISO then stated (1 or 2 stops ...
-
Or if you can shoot as base ISO despite low light, right? I like shooting night city scenes on tripod and can use base ISO but still find DR lacking and the results of HDR merging often not up to ...
-
If you do that, what type of file does DxO then open? The RAF file, or a DNG file? And if it opens a DNG file, does it still allow using DEEP Prime NR then? I don't use LR so I can't test for ...
-
Well for DPReview the point if f/5.6 because that's what they use for their studio test scene. And these images were made by DPReview for evaluating which lens is best for that purpose. Hence ...
-
In addition to this I want to stress: DxO DEEP Prime noise reduction, the really good one for which we all use the software, only works on actual raw files (RAF files for Fuji). It can not work on ...
