Looks like watermarks are going to get bigger.

All you really did was subtract $50 from the resale value. I am in the camp of UV filter goes on from day 1. With a high end UV like B+W there is really no loss of quality and I just feel a lot ...

I've never shot anything as fast as a mountain biker but it will keep up with someone running towards the camera. Right up until they fill the frame and then it gets hit and miss.

that's my dream lens but hopefully a bit smaller than the canon version.

I've been waiting for this for a while.

I've owned a7rII, RIII, RIV, A7II, A7III, A7IV and the A1 and I don't really notice much difference at all from and IQ perspective. I love my A1 for the responsiveness and the 1/400 flash sync ...

You can use mechanical shutter and no HSS up to 1/400 with the A1 (higher than most cameras).
-
You can use electronic shutter with the flash, no penalty up to 1/200s. When you go over 1/200s you will switch into high speed sync mode that drops the power about 3 stops or so.

Some people are still happy with their a7r. All cameras seem amazing until a better one comes around. One day they will invent a camera that makes the A1 feel like a kids toy.
-
I would hope they would run the shutter for at least that many exposure to make sure it works before it leaves the factory. Not sure if they would then reset it.

I don't mind learning a bit about video here and there. I get the feeling that it will be required for a lot of pros soon.

Best part about sony is all the options. Loving my 35-150 f2-2.8. Just as sharp and fast focusing as the original 24-70mm gm it replaced.

Rokinon 35mm 1.8. Love this lens
-
No wonder we've been getting some nice new features added to the cameras.

Makes a lot more sense why I am always satisfied with the lenses I get. I looked at the sample and I can clearly see all the little blood vessels in the eyes. Sharp enough for me.
-
Best to just pretend A doesn't exist and get an nice fast, cheap UHS II card.
-
From reviews I've seen I'd guess it's sharper than the 16-35mm f4 but that doesn't seem to be a high bar.
-
Even if they don't come right out and say it I think most reviews are factoring in the price. When people say its sharp what they really mean is that it's as sharp or sharper than most lenses in ...
-
If sharpness is your main concern you may want to look to the 20mm 1.8. I have that lens and I love it.

It's not great but if you crop to about 1.3x you get a fun 22-70 focal length. Panasonic makes something like that for full frame I wish they had that with sony.
