GarysInSoCal: Fuji is gettin KILLED in sales by Sony, Nikon and Canon. REGARDLESS of Fuji's technology advancements, if you can't proceed past prototype production quanities, NO ONE will buy your products. As the statistics show... a few of these YouTube evaluation geeks may be testing Fuji gear, but almost NOBODY is buying their cameras. Their insignificant lens lineup (along with outrageous prices and very limited availability) is another major reason why. Sorry Angry Photographer and your miniscule quanity of Fuji minions... but I'm givin Fuji 2 years... and it will be GONE!

@DrewRick
Yup, and the surest sign of an insecure photographer is when they have to constantly remind others of their relevance and what they do even if nobody is asking about it.

Your comment makes it seem like you're living under a rock. SoCal isn't the center of the world and your opinion doesn't hold true on all regions. Also, how can I take seriously someone who fuses "quality and quantity" together into "quanities" and thinks modeling events are a good meter for Fuji usage?

I didn't know that there are stars or asteroids visible in front of the moon, and closer to Earth.

GarysInSoCal: These are some impressive images... but quite frankly... all of them could have been shot with the same effect and sharpness with my Nikon 85 F 1.8 for $700 less... ;)

Nope. Bokeh character and transitions are different.

DjangoChained: Fuji has two problems with their entry level lens lineup: The price of the XF 18-135 is way too high for a super zoom, and there is no affordable UWA zoom.

@Halftrack
That would be a job for the Fuji XF14mm f2.8 AF. Not weather sealed but still tough. Sharp lens and It even does IR landscapes with no hotspots.

It aint a perfect world but if you're willing to go wider, rectilinear, reasonably sharp, then MF on UWA (which is soooo easy on mirrorless) can open up interesting perspectives for you.

1. Samyang.Rokinon 12mm --- hella sharp corner to corner, takes in filters, great build.

2. Venus Optics 9mm (Zero Distortion) --- not a fishy but a rectilinear lens with near zero distortion. Great build quality too. It has filed curvature but just focus halfway down from the center and you can negate the field curvature for good sharpness across the screen.

See Christopher Frost's review in youtube for these interesting glass.

@Drew --- Aye! Adding to that, I also used the Canon 10-22 on the Fuji for interiors and these work too albeit in MF.

"Adobe gets rid of subscription model and goes back to retail for their 30th birthday. Announces 30% off on PS" --- then I woke up from the wonderful dream I thought I read in the article.

Love the Sony cameras but why can't they get the menu and control layouts more user friendly and organized? Shoulda been sorted out 2 iterations after the NEX 5 but this problem still persists to this day.

Well, if a past series used a 5D Mark 2 for a whole episode, I'm sure the S1H will be more than capable for the job 😊

On article Review: Wondershare FilmoraPro video editing software (111 comments in total)

Thank you for the review. I have the regular Filmora editor (just before version 8?) and I think this is a fair review.

I don't think Filmora Pro is really gunning for the big boys yet because it wasn't really made for those who're willing to go through a myriad of options in doing a given step in the editing process. I observed there were more people like me who had to make quick edits to put content out there fresh, fast and in easily uploadable sizes for social media and mobile consumption.

Having wrote that, Filmora does need to compete with the mentioned more feature rich free versions available in the market. After using it for a long time, you might start to feel that you're outgrowing it's capabilities and making compromises on the execution of the editing/project you have in mind. The suggested things to improve might just bring it to the mid-tier acceptance where pros and semi-pros are always looking for a speedier yet fine tuned output.

MarshallG: Was the score of EOS R updated when Canon updated the firmware?

I think it wasn't because that firmware update was lame and seemed like an afterthought.

1. Liquid Metal technology straight from the Terminator T2000
2. 100,000 actuations? Given today's burst shooting users, you can breeze through 100k in 4 or 5 years.

OliverGlass: Disappointing. A 240 dollar a year software that I will subscribe to but never own.
Much as I love Adobe, a strong competitor should take this cue to step-up.

@Barty
I've owned versions of Adobe prior to them going CC. I come from their previous business model. Just when I was thinking of getting the monthly 10 dollar plan, THIS comes out. (bummer)

So yeah, the known competitors who comes up with a great synergistic experience for a one time ownership fee will be a strong proposition.

Seems like a winnable case for VSCO. Too many coincidences plus the color science experts can really trace similarities when you deconstruct digital files.

This is a good move since the mobile div will now work closely with the more successful Alpha and mirrorless divisions. The mobile division should incorporate Sony manual controls on their Xperia line and some apps used on the NEX Line.

It was fortunate that the Flerken in the pictures didn't eat the Pixel 3. Those things love Google Pixel phones.

Judge, that's a shameful thing to do. I wonder about the judge's political biases.
