I don't agree with whole 'shoot in raw' stuff. I shot jpgs for 18 years, longer if we go back to point and shoot cameras. If you know your camera, and can hit the exposure, raw, is not that big of ...

Lightroom is like painting with watercolors. Broad strokes, not real exacting. Photoshop is painting with oil paint and using fine exacting brushes. You can work on the fine details in photoshop. A ...

DeNoise AI is fantastic. I use it on almost every shot. I also have Sharpen AI. That; kind of a last ditch effort kind of thing on a shot that should be deleted, but there's asome part of it that ...

Looks like it's back focusing. The best shot to see this is the green bird. The tree is sharp, the bird isn't. Some other issues may be, how many focusing points do you have active? Next time you ...

I have Sharpen AI, but rarely use it. I find that the sharpening in DeNoise AI is enough.

Yes, I use Topaz DeNoise AI on every shot. It's saved a lot of my shots. A quick sample at iso 12,800.

I know you folks shoot Canons, but I have to say, that switching to mirrorless Sonys has been fantastic. No more MFA ing the lenses, is great. I first bought the a7III with a 28-70 kit lens. ...

I added the difference between the 32mp and 24 mp sensor when you wrote this: "I can never understand the rationale to take a light and compact M series body and turn it into a poorly balanced ...

32 mp vs 24mp. My 18-135 walks all over the 18-150 that came with the camera. Maybe I got dud, but at least at the long end, the 18-135 STM is much sharper. Same distance away, cropped to same ...

It's going to look a lot like this. M62, 300 F2.8, 2x tc, EF adapter.

(Bought for wildlife) I'm less than thrilled with it, but it may work great for you. The camera is very small, and it seems to get smaller the more you use it, but again, that depends on the ...

Yes the jpg is on the left. The minimal difference isn't worth the added time or hard drive space for me to shoot raw 100% of the time. A couple of times a year I'll shoot raw and jpg together to ...

One was a jpg, one was a raw. The jpg took about 1.5 minutes to process, the raw a little over 6 minutes. On this day, I processed 17 photos. That's a bit of time saving. There is a slight ...

A shoe lace works great. I use them on most of my cameras.
