sigma 16 1.4 on A6xxx apsc body seems sharper than both.. I could be wrong, but it would be great to see a direct comparison.
-
I also use the bbf. So you want to keep focusing (I presume in AFC mode) even after you stop holding the button? hmm I don't think that is possible, but why do you need it anyway?
-
I think our post/comparison is interesting and I see no issues if you post it in the FF section. Actually its quite interesting how much of that 1.5/2 stops high iso difference (when both are raw) ...

Can you name an OS which does not release patches/fixes at least few times per year? That is just from the last month.....
-
well the apsc primes are much faster :) you need to compare this with the 24-70 2.8 gm
-
Which 3 fixed do you mean?

For me, its a big ask to give up on that constant f4. Compare with FF, APSC already lose a stop of dof and iso (roughly), so giving up another one (very early at about 50) is just way too much. I ...

I use it the same way (with back button focus) and noticed the same improvement.

if you mean sigma 19, all reviews so far agree that the 18-135 is quite soft at 18-22mm. In another comparison here, it was far worse than 18-105 in that range.

Great images, I like fe28 a lot. the exif says the camera is a6000 though

Hi, your setting are correct. I can only assume that it was a software bug. Try re-inserting the battery. The only other way of explayning it is if you accidentally switched to M/S modes.

Great, many thanks for your detailed answer. Really appreciate it. Just one more question, did you use these https://www.amazon.co.uk/X-Rite-MSCCP-ColorChecker-Passport-Affinity/dp/B002NU5UW8
-
Hi Pawel, how did you create these profiles? Are they incamera or camera raw/lightroom profiles? Did you use passport color checker? Are you happy to share a bit more on the topic? cheers

Changing primes when on holiday trips is just not practical for me. Tried that and its just too much of a hassle (especially when exploring a new place with the wife). These days, its 18-105f4 and ...

I was surprised about the enthusiasm regarding this lens. Its so small there is just no way we get the claimed corner to corner sharpness. Also, its a slow lens, I read somewhere here that its ...

+1 I would not buy a 50 lens now. Better wait and see what sigma will offer very soon. Also, sigma will soon release a few fe art lenses, these suppose to be of even higher quality (and more ...

18-105 is a bit large, but its light. its good wide open and very sharp at f5.6. I think it will surprise you nicely. The 16-50 kit is also not bad at all. These 2 zooms and something like sigma ...

Take a look at this thread https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4240634 A few people shared photos taken with the 24 and praised the lens for the excelent colors. I personally have bad experience ...

Absolutely, please take your time. Comparison with these 2 primes would be fantastic. Cheers
