Shot with EOS R5 and RF 800 lens.

The EOS R does not have that. It’s just a matter of adjusting it while looking to the viewfinder until you think it is sharp.
-
I now have 4 RF lenses and several EF and EF-S lenses. Since I bought the RF 24-240mm lens it is my go-to lens whenever I go to places where I am not sure beforehand if there will be something ...

Finally received my EOS R5 this week after three months of waiting. Today I finally had the time to go out and take some "real" pictures with it.
-
No need, I just mentioned it so people don’t get confused. ;)

It’s firmware 1.8.0, not 1.1.8. Typo in the title of the thread.

You might be right. In a lot of countries only channels 1-11 are allowed. So maybe that’s why Canon excluded 13.

That version is listed on the support site but not if you select Windows 7 as your OS. Good to know it still works although it is not officially supported.

When I received my EOS R, one week after its release, the CMOS sensor died within an hour after setting it up. And I had to wait 4 weeks before receiving a replacement. These things happen sometimes.

You can also use the same app to control the camera remotely. I find that very convenient.
-
You can view the images on the camera using the Canon Connect app on your phone. It will create a direct WiFi link between camera and phone. At least that is how it works on the EOS R. I suppose it ...

That only helps with a defect pixel on the sensor. This will not help if the EVF screen itself has a stuck pixel.
-
Does any of the WiFi network names that are visible contain special characters? That might cause the issue.
-
Another Youtube video about this? Not even gonna watch it.

Exactly the same statement is made in the manual for the EOS R. If a camera gets too hot it can affect image quality and it warns you about it. So nothing new.
