I guess it depends of ones needs. To my taste for "standard" editing (CaptureOne, and some raster editing), it's enough. Although, I would not really merge panoramas, or high resolution HDR...

Intel got some issues with their fab. But still, the 10th and 1th generation are not very far away, and with Alder Lake they could fill the gap.

I'm really impressed that Intel can still compete...

Current computers are really fast for office/photo work, in my opinion. I am still using the MBP 2012 (!), and it works great for that purposes.

I feel a bit disappointed as well. There are great features like super fast read out, robust body, and AF but having a low spec EVF on a high end expensive camera feels super lame......

PureRaw supports X-Trans already?

As data center are less CPU dependent on the software side (mostly using Linux or some Unix), they are already using different architecture like Power PC.

It's years behind (on this topic) because others did it years ago.

The issue with the modal window exporter (to my eyes) is that it's slower, less integrated in C1 design, not customizable and less flexible.
Moreover, the in 14.3 some significant and time saver...
