BH Photo is starting to ship

Since you already got 70-200GM II, it would be better to get 24-70GM II to complete the range then compliment with 50GM. Then if you have extra cash, get 85mm too
-
This is an easy choice. I’ve used all 3 lenses. The 35f1.8 is probably worst of the 3, the bokeh and color rendering wasn’t to my liking, too dull, nothing special. The 55mm is an old lens, the ...

I have this 70-200 GM II and do hear the sound like the motor is running, similarly my 35GM has the same sound so I believe it’s normal.
-
Yes indeed it’s an addiction to GM lenses. I’m currently owning: 24GM 35GM 50mm f1.4 Planar. The new 50GM seemed like a great lens, I might upgrade in the future. 85GM 135GM 70-200GM II 24-70GM II ...

Tamron 35-150 is too heavy, it’s even heavier than the new 70-200 GM II. For sure won’t be easy to carry around when traveling. The new 24-70mm GM II is more desirable and compact, can just put in ...
-
I also pre-order this new 24-70 GM II, the size is significant smaller, look like gonna be a well balanced lens. Previously I’ve been using the 16-35GM and thought the size was perfect and wish ...
-
If 50mm you said is too close then 35mm would be your pick but I considered that as an environment portrait lens. If you want single lens do it all then get the new 70-200mm f2.8 GM II, it’s light ...
-
You should go with the new 70-200GM II, it’s a single do it all lens. With the new weight reduction bring it down to almost similar weight with f4 version, it’s a no brainer to get the f2.8. It’s ...
-
I recently got the new 70-200GM II lens, and already loving it. The image is sharp. While it still not a light lens but still manageable. Don’t feel heavy after a while whereas the version 1 is ...
-
Time is money, why wait for something that’s not even out yet. Get Sony 70-200mm GM II, the resale value gonna be high so basically it’s gonna be like a rental except you have to pay in full at ...
-
Anyone got shipment notification from Amazon yet? I pre-ordered from Amazon.
-
You will probably regret later that not buying 35GM sooner. 35mm is perfect for everyday on the go
-
The key is is weight, I would go with option 1. The lighter overall kit, the more you will use which in turn will make it worth it.
-
Weight was the main reason I preordered 70-200GM II.
-
I did the same, sold my 100-400GM and preordered 70-200GM II. Cannot wait!
-
That’s a great news, sound like US is getting sooner than expected.
-
How do you like it so far?
-
Then you should get the 35GM, I love it. It can be a single lens for events or party. I also have 24G’M but a little too wide for my shooting. Sometimes I use crop mode to get the 50mm equivalent
-
I do like the fact that we have more options to choose from. I just saw the review on the Tamron 35-150, look like a great one lens do everything. Cannot go wrong with that lens. I would consider ...
