A digital color camera has already these filters, just pull out the different channels from different images and combine them.
-
Did you try turning it off and on again? Maybe there was a communication problem that a restart could have fixed.
-
Stopping down is not matching the TC. Shoot both wide open or stop both down one stop. Also note that the bird in both sequences is filling the frame about equally, that means a farther away bird ...

Yes, like many Sony lenses, this Tamron lens also has linear motors that move freely when not powered.
-
These (E mount) lenses come with built-in correction profiles, AFAIK they are not stored in the body.
-
You stopped the bare lens 2/3 stops down but with the TC you shot wide open. Do the stopping down with the TC and compare again. It might not have an effect but will reduce differences in testing ...

I use an arca clamp as well, works so great and lets you change so quickly. Peakdesign anchors for the safety straps.

I'm no expert on this but the 'blur' should not be larger (in terms of larger bokeh balls) but smoother due to the shading of the edges of the bokeh balls. A larger aperture might give you a ...

@Lion-O The Sony 200-600 has almost no change in angle of view from infinity tho mfd, see http://www.bobatkins.com/photography/technical/focus_breathing_focal_length_changes.html how to measure it....

You can get a third party foot with a Magpul Quick Detach attachment point, Arca Swiss dovetail or simply screw in a connector for a strap like Black Rapid or OP/Tech at the foot/use Peak Design ...

A UHS-II V90 card in slot 1 does improve buffer clearing, it will be faster but don't expect too much as the camera can't use the full potential of these cards.

For landscapes it is a good lens, for astroscapes it is a little slow, I would go with a f/1.4 or f/1.8 prime instead.

Image circles are, as the name suggest, round, so why should the angle of view not be what is covered by the image circle? Take a spotting scope, binoculars, should the angle of view be some crop ...

8 bit per channel are 256 steps, with 26 total bits you have on average 8,67 bits per channel with 406 steps. The rest is math. Or if you prefer the total number of steps 16.777.216 vs 67.108.864 ...
-
Thats what this number suggests. Or 63% of the steps per channel.

Even if you display supports all 8 bits, looking at all three files tells you not much. Push the files in pp and you should see a difference.
-
Two bits is little? Thats a difference of 4x, like two stops.

… The A7RIVA is not a different model, it just has another screen. So putting the 61 MP sensor in the A7RV would be in line with reusing it for a second generation. On the other hand in some MP ...

A polarizer does not avoid reflections from metal surfaces! Metal surfaces don't polarize light, so don't be disappointed when you try it out.

You probably were thinking of those super zooms but another Tamron zoom, the 35-150 2.0-2.8, sounds like the lens you want.
