Terry Breedlove: If this is any good and the price is right I think it would make an excellent lens for the Fuji XT2.

I read that they are pricing it at the same price as the Fuji 35 1.4.
So you would have to be a REAL Samyang fan to want to buy this lens...
If they would cut the price in half, then i would be interested...

I'm planning a one month south america trip (Patagonia) early next year, and i'm looking for a rather small and lightweight solution. Since i like landscape photography i want to take my (crop) dslr with a 10-20 lens for landscapes, and this lens for general use and stuff like penguins. I've been looking for other combinations including switching to 4/3 or buying a second (compact) camera, but so far i think the 2 lens dslr solution with this 16-300 is the best solution.
So this lens is number one on my christmas list.
But if anyone knows a better solution for a zoom range of 10-300 (1.5 crop equivalent) with max 2 lenses, please let me know.

shutterbobby: As an X10 owner at least Fuji has said now the problem is real, not blooming like all other cameras, but it seems serious in the fact it cannot be eliminated totally, which mean the orbs can still ruin many shots or??? we can hope for the best..

i agree completely with Raist3d. i have had an X10 for some time now, and i haven't seen a single orb yet. i think the camera is great, and fantastic to work with.
