Canon USA. 2 ten percenters can be stacked at checkout. Just google for them and you'll def. find. - digtech1n

This helps. I think I'll pull the trigger on the second one as it's cheap enough. I'll just leave the L plate off for now. Thanks man!

Certain aspects of mentioning the deal cant be discussed because of rule 10 of the forums. I can confirm the deal I good though. I paid $898 including tax for a brand new RP. - digtech1n

I know. I do like the way the Canon model blends better. Perhaps I'll look at a gently used one. - digtech1n

Looking at these two grips for my EOS RP that have L bracket attachments. Anyone have experiences with these or similar products? Trying to avoid paying the $80 for the Canon OEM one. https://www.e ...

Well I guess this will probably be deleted. Posted in the R forum and the Mods deleted my post telling me I'm Spamming people. Not sure how spamming and sharing a deal I got on a camera are the ...

Just wanted to share this. I scored an EOS RP, Brand New (Not Refurb), off Canon USA's site for $898 USD out the door. I was able to stack two coupon codes which were: L1N5YWT - 10% XJ49WS7 - 10% C ...

Probably not mechanial but Electronic would be nice! We know they do it with video on both cameras - digtech1n

Just wanted to start an open discussion. Does anyone see other decent updates being added to the RP and or R in the coming months? Specifically with increased competition from Sony could we ...

I think I may. Will probably still see what the a5 is about though. That's not to say I'd never switch to Sony. But perhaps it's just not the right time for myself yet. Someday though! I remember ...

I get your point. I guess variable aperture lenses have never been an issue for me, at least personally. I work around the change in aperture for every shot. Rarely am I shooting below f8 anyway ...

Hmm. Im just not sure I want to adapt as I've heard lots of issues with focus hunting and with some lenses not working great. Why not the 24-105. It seems to get great reviews? - digtech1n

This is not to mention third party options for Canon in addition to this. If Sony could offer this type of variety with pricing I'd be all over it. - digtech1n

Yes but that Tamron is one lens and is still more $$ than all of these: This is what I can choose from with Canon: EF 24-105mm f3.5-5.6 IS STM ($599) RF 24-105 IS f4.5-7 STM ($399) EF 70-300mm ...

I can honestly say as a Canon shooter who has always been interested/fascinated with the Sony system, the one thing holding me back is lens prices. Myself, a Dad on a budget, will not settle for ...

IDK anyone else feel like the R5 and R6 are being compared to the Sony A7Siii is an apples to oranges comparison. My thoughts: - As a hybrid stills shooter and occasional Youtuber, I would never...

To add to this point, will a single battery even last the 70 minutes of video use anyway. Probably not. So they can probably do 4k HQ until the battery runs out with no overheating!

and the others can switch to Sony, Panasonic, etc... if they want and shoot 8k, oh wait 4k...oh wait this does that too ! I guess this was the whole crux of my argument. Is the 4k 30 unlimited mode ...

You all have valid points, but what about that 4k 30p option at the bottom that is not limited by heat from what Canon is saying. Even if in crop mode, wouldn't that suffice for most if not ...

Found this: https://www.diyphotography.net/canon-confirms-the-eos-r5-overheats-in-4k-as-well/ According to that, these are the heat limitations of the R5: (1) 8K RAW 30p – 20 minutes
