ogl: Nikon 1 is the worst design, sensor and conception in mirrorless world. IMO.
I can say it without any review.
No design - to say honest...Crop 2.7 is the silliest way. Where is the advantage?

JargonTalk: This new D4 looks on (digital) paper like everything we have been asking for, and then some. Looking forward to getting my hands on one to check it out in the near future.

inevitable crafts studio: hopefully it shows that they only need 16Mpixel because they bring out a MX format called megaX aka midium format :)

Hugo600si: I'm curious why the lcd is non move-able, I'm no pro but I find it one of the best upgrades from the a700 to the a77, especially when the camera adds video. Probably the market does not need it, but it beats me as to why not.

I think you can connect it to an extra monitor for serious video taking

JoelHorn2008: I was on my Honda 750 sitting at a stoplight when a Harley came up alongside. We starting talking and I asked him why he rode a Harley, he sort of grunted "huh...what do you mean?" I said that my bike was faster, better looking, lighter, easier to ride, more stable, all around better." His answer "yeah but you're still on a honda, my bike is a Harley" and off he rode. I have always remembered that because that is how I feel about my many Nikons....I don't really care about all the numbers, I ride a Nikon. Canon folks just can't top that no matter what the facts say, sometimes the facts don't matter, Nikon is the king of cameras. Thanks for the D4 when do I get by D800?

Suzuki is to Pentax as Triumph is to Olympus ...

pacogwapo: I hope the rest of the team at Apple continues to drive simplicity. Simplicity is everything. Simplicity is why I can find everything and do everything I need on my iPod Touch, while a lack of appreciation of the power of simplicity is why no one can figure out how to get their DSLR to take the darn picture half the time when we press the shutter. Oriental camera makers cram too much in to try to make them sell more. If they were artists, they'd understand simplicity, but they aren't artists.

WTF does this "news" have to do with photography?

maybe in the near future smartphones will take over pro cameras:)
