Grumpyrocker: i've been saying for some time that many of these computational photography technologies and features should be included in "proper" cameras too. There's too much of an "us vs them" thing going on.

As an option that is!

Hey, he's Russian, and these days that seems to be a very Russian thing to do.

Another great national identity comes to mind also 🤔

Sample shots look very good.
Would this lens work fine with an adapter on my Sony a6500?

On article Why you should own a 135mm F2 lens (385 comments in total)

I own a Zeiss Sonar T* 135mm f 2.8 bought very cheap (say 100 Us$ equivalent) for manual shooting with the Nex7. Loved the results (but cannot post an example in this post unfortunately). I still use the lens on my A6500 with excellent results.

In Europe we like sex and are afraid of guns.
In the US they like guns and are afraid of sex.
Guess where I live!

On article RIP Lightroom 6: Death by subscription model (1633 comments in total)

I just bought LR6 for a longer and serious evaluation.
Also bought Capture One (which for Sony cameras is only 50 dollars).
Capture One seems a bit more complicated at first, but a great feature is the option to delete all menu and function buttons you do not need, thereby personalising and simplifying the user interface.

The LR6 money spent has been wasted.
I must go with the C1 software
