You can use it in FF DSLR with some vignetting, I can use my 17-55mm Nikon DX in D850 from around 20mm, 24mm it is good little bit stopped down. I even use the 18-55 AF-P in FF mode ... But Z7 they ...

Yes that ship has sailed. But it could happen in a future z models ... Even all Nikon DSLR can not AF with AF & AF-D lenses. Like the 5000 and 3000 series. So hypothetically Nikon can come up with ...

Is it technically possible to manufacture an adopter ( probably with a motor ) so that Nikon AF and AF-D lenses will auto focus on a  Z camera ?
