I'm currently enjoying my Z f with Nikon's 28/1.4E via FTZ. A fine couple, though maybe a bit heavy and ergonomically "unperfect" ;)
-
Maybe, maybe not. Does it need one? Who really cares?

250 grams ain't exactly life changing ... Sigma's gonna sell a ton of these. 1300-1400 is perfectly in line with most competitive products and Sigma managed almost half a kilo of weight reduction...

I suspect we won't see the 23/1.4 version in Z mount > Nikon offers their own 24/1.7 ...
-
Well, images 11, 13, 20, 25 ... all show lousy bokeh so familiar with PF lenses. It really looks bad; so bad actually, it should not even be debated. PF lenses do bring a lot, most definitely...

Yellow, not gold. We won't see gold on any of the Nikon Z products, they made that clear in 2018 when introducing the system. The Noct and Plena engravings are filled with yellow colour.
-
No it's not. If anything, it's pretty obvious that it is not going to be a 105/1.4 lens.
-
"I wish nikon brought back their 1 system." Are you ever feeling alone in the Universe ...?
-
Just use the 26/2.8 ... it's equivalent to 39mm on FX format ...
-
Make it in SE version like 28/2.8 and 40/2 and I'll be buying one for use on Z fc ...
-
It's basically like this > the universe only exists because Sony is OK with that.
-
Because Sony says so/does not allow it.
-
I just love this, it's great news! Fingers crossed all goes nice and fine!
-
The real question is which of these 2 lenses is sharper at f/1.4? Hint - it's brand name starts with an S ...

"We're not leaving the market, most definitely not, we're just leaving the market."
-
This really looks like a half-done product ...

@JacquesBalthazar: "Not sure where the 35 and the 50 L-mount '"summicron light" come from ..." These lenses are "based on" Panasonic Lumix 35/1.8 S ($600) and 50/1.8 S ($400) lenses. Kinda sad,...
-
These 35/2 and 50/2 Summicron-SL lenses should never exist ...
-
Doesn't really matter; I handled the camera under NDA some days ago, so it's me, myself and I being the source. Trust me, the Z 8 does not offer built-in GPS capabilities, only via SnapBridge.
