I had 2 RD-1, and they were great at that time, but APS-C, sensor is only 6Mpx, shutter is loudy. The best bang for the buck, with a good sensor id the M240 ;)

@Stavrost 2- The flange distance between the sensor and the mount is fixed and dependent of the camera system only. You have a place or not to put 1 or 2 or 3 mechanism, but you can't change this...

No magic, a different notch on the mount but there is no 24mm framelines, it begins at 28mm, and generally two framelines for 2 focal length come together ;)

It is moiré the sharper the combination lense+camera, the worst it can be. the AA filter soften the image on the sensor to avoid (part of ) moiré I think there is no anti Aliasing filter since the M9 ...
