  • Replied in No
I only use Z and photograph dancer, models, portraits and events as well as landscapes/cityscapes. You can view samples at my site in my signature.
  • Replied in No
I own both and wasn't able to import my settings from the Z6 II to the Z7 II. Perhaps because they have a slightly different Menu structure. Took me about a half hour to manually set the exact ...
  • I have three of those lenses and have zero issues on my Z6 II or Z7 II. Are you using OEM Nikon "C" batteries Did you follow their firmware install steps here? https://download.nikonimglib.com/arch ...
  • Replied in Holashobby
Because Nikon has lost market share, so they are playing "catchup" and will continue to improve their existing models to regain that share. You know there is a chip shortage so I don't see new ...
  • Replied in Exactly
Exactly. Here's another snip from same article: "3D-tracking has been an extremely popular AF feature, and in response to strong customer requests, the Z 9 is the first mirrorless camera to be ...
  • Replied in They will
All of sudden the version II Z has two slow Expeed 6 processors? Give me a break. They can improve the AF even better, and they will eventually.
  • Agree with above. ISO 3200 is high ISO. Not low ISO. Assuming you shot this during the day, shoot at ISO 64 to 200, set your aperture and check the meter for shutter speed optimal exposure. The Z7 ...

Actually, this is the page for Z6 II https://downloadcenter.nikonimglib.com/en/products/556/Z_6II.html
  • Replied in PMG
I don't own one but it seems it could be a great travel lens
  • Replied in PMG
Who knows. Might be a licensing issue with Arca-Swiss? I'm sure they've heard about it from their Ambassadors to use Arca-Swiss lens foots instead but Nikon isn't listening. Thanks :)
  • Replied in PMG
I have similar from Promediagear at $40 and it has the SS2 port that I use underneath: https://promediagear.com/products/new-px4-4-5-inch-arca-swiss-type-double-dovetail-plate-w-quick-release-adapt ...
  • Replied in Best 24-70mm
I don't shoot video so I'm unsure, but the the 24-70 f/2.8 S does not feel cheap to me. The image quality is superior and that's what counts.
  • Un-useful idiom. Welcome to my Ignore List.
  • How about the new product not working as expected, and than people complain to Nikon: "what gives"? The firmware update address that and is supposed to give full support.
  • Let me explain it to you even further. The same question has been asked countless times after EVERY firmware update. This is why Nikon explains the firmware update process in full in the firmware ...
  • Use AF-S, Focus Priority with EyeAF. It will still track eyes/face in AF-S mode. Your hit rate will increase.
