On article Fujifilm X-T100 review (349 comments in total)

The X-T100 is a good affordable entry level camera for those wanting to shoot slow moving, and static subjects.
If video and quick AF is a requirement then I'd look elsewhere, but for landscapes, architectural photography and portraiture, the X-T100 is good enough, no need to spend more on the X-T20, better to spend more on quality Fujicon lenses

TriezeA72: Ever since TIME magazine named Angela Merkel person of the year for 2015, I find it hard to take them seriously anymore!

If Merkel can’t get Turkey to solve the problem for her, the only alternative is to bottle it up in Greece, the entry point for most asylum-seekers. The EU can pour money in to helping the Greeks cope with the numbers, build more refugee camps, and secure the border, but that could cause chaos in a country that is only just recovering from a long series of economic crises, and if Greece finds itself facing the refugee problem alone, there could be a new wave of protests, snap elections and unrest....The possibility of Grexit could rear its head again, just as Merkel and the EU thought they had put it to bed!...She screwed up big time by opening up the gates, she's put the whole of Europe in jeopardy, a self gratifying act to gain popularity....shes got her pic on the front cover of TIME, and you'll bearing the brunt of her huge stuff up!

Last year Angela Merkel was hailed as the saviour of Europe, living up to the continent’s founding ideals of openness & tolerance by opening the gates of Germany to millions of refugees fleeing the horrors of Syria’s civil war, but things have quickly changed now as Germany comes to terms with the realities involved in absorbing more than a million migrants who were promised a better life...There are no quick fixes! Merkel cannot shut Germany’s borders to refugees like Sweden, Denmark or Austria have done, because then everyone else would follow suit, that would mean the collapse of the Schengen free-movement zone, which Europe cannot afford.
She can go on diplomatic missions to Turkey to beg Erdogan to stop the flow of asylum-seekers to Europe, the trouble with this strategy is that the Turks will keep asking for more money in return for their help, in addition to the €3 billion the EU has already promised, and there are doubts over how much Mr Erdogan is really willing or able to do

@joe...I couldn't give a rats toss if every 20th 40th or 80th person living in my neighbourhood was either of Syrian, French or Pekingese origins...I don't have a problem with citizens of ethnic origins, and I don't understand how you came to this conclusion that I do, there is no mention of such content in my comments above!... It's best you study psychology before you start pretending to be a psychologist, that way you will not look so foolish! ....My problem is with Angela Merkel, a German born citizen of Germany who happens to be the German Chancellor!.... Are going to accuse me of sexual discrimination now Joe, because she's a female....

@ joe..If you want to go down the influential path, then infamous Baghdadi was the clear winner!...if it wasn't for him, Merkel's heinous idea of opening up the gates wouldn't of happened

Good enough for an auto-mode newbie who's hell bent on wanting a DSLR but doesn't want to break the bank...or a novice who wants to learn more with a DSLR ....it's more sensible to learn on a budget camera, the inexpensive experience will help you when you upgrade, you'll have better knowledge to decide on which system/camera suits your needs the best...

Would be nice if the top half of the view screen side of the this chassis could extend and compress like a concertina, or a molded attachment that fits on the chassis snugly, like a hood for the view screen, making it easier to see what you're filming on bright sunny days...

Well if it could shake margaritas for you, then you'll definitely be on a winner..... It's a sleek designed concept and it does offer more functionality than what a phone on its own can offer, but does it offer photographers something to make them really go out and get one? That's the million dollar question! Personally I would've integrated an EVF into the design, that's one important feature lacking on all phones, and on most compact P&S cameras....or an internal battery which can expand the power life of your phone while you're taking shots or filming, even doubling up as a portable phone charger....another feature is internal memory, you can never have enough!.....Personally the idea of a clip on hand grip with physical control dials for a phone device can be perceived as a bit gimmicky!... but if it was to offer either, memory storage, extended battery life, or a reasonable EVF, etc etc... then the Pictar Grip would be a more desirable product/tool, than just a clip on grip.....
