I have a question.  If a customer purchases a used camera and also gets the New Leaf warranty, if the customer sells the camera later, is the New Leaf warranty transferable to the new owner? Lee

I am not talking about lens firmware upgrades.  My original question was, do we need to remove the lens before upgrading the BODY firmware.

I know about finding the current versions of the firmware.  What I asking was, do we need to remove the lens before upgrading the body firmware.  One site said to do it, but another site indicated ...

Does the lens need to be removed before updating the firmware?
