Esposure X6 doesn't run under El Capitan or Sierra. I don't know why the article says tha, I had to upgrade my system.
Also, Personally I didn't see any difference in speed.
BUT :0 the new *adjustable* auto function, Haze and Dynamic Contrast are a real winner. Colour adjustment is fantastic and so is the BW conversion. as always.
Lens support for manual lenses is better than anybody else's.
What I still miss is a good denoise.

My only important critique is that in standalone mode Exposure will just sit there and say
for b....y hours.
Best open it from another program as a plugin.

SomeguyPNW: I own Efex, Viewpoint, and PL3. Silver Efex is still super useful for landscapes and architecture alike...but I'm staying with an older versions of DxO products until they do something truly innovative. These cash grabs (on a product they didn't even develop, no less) are shameful.

as I said in my past post, they improved absolutely nothing. don't get tempted to upgrade which I did for trial without a backup of the old installation. More, these presets are totally useless. For a 25th anniversary, you would have expected something sophisticated.
Does anybody know how do switch off the nags?

I just did a lengthy comment over on the affinity forum about the 'new' upgrade. Don't waste you money if you have V2 or 2.5.

I can't do this here as it doesn't let me post pics or links.

icexe: I installed the update, but I don't see any of the new presets. Anyone else experiencing this?

Sadly, they announced them as new 'filters' so I experienced the same.
click here to see the screenshot, they still say that!
The U point was there all the time and I fell for an upgrade before which did sod all new. The perspective thingy is really superfluous IMHO if you own Viewpoint. Tried the new Photolab, too and was not that convinced, the new denoise is extremely slow so I guess I'll skip that.
DXO, please wake me up when you have something really new.

This is my winner, the dust, the gloves and an inquisitive cat. Typical shed atmosphere.
