  • I don't pretend to be clairvoyant, however I think not.  There is no shortage of R8 bodies and (based on availability) no visible demand.  That is what drives prices up - availability and demand.  ...
  • Ooooohhhh..... I like Lingonberry.
  • Replied in Q2 does NYC
    Nice job.
  • The D-Lux7 is a great little camera. That's all that matters to me.  As far as comparing it to a Panasonic, I've never tried because I own. and shoot, Leica equipment and don't need to compare ...
  • You can continue to respond to hypotheticals but you're just....................... If a Q3 is announced, we will then see. Whatever Q3 will emerge, it is already done and in the works.
  • Still waiting to know who has 30 second-hand Q2s.
  • No one can answer the question, but you. Buy the FLE, compare the lenses, and sell what you don’t want to keep. The only way you would know what’s best for you is to compare them side-by-side.
  • Obviously, no one can answer the question.  There's no reason Leica couldn't do it as the Q came in silver.  But WILL they? Who knows.
  • Nope. There are no better, or best, options.  Everyone uses what works for them. After evaluating most of what's available, I use Luminar NEO and Topaz for anything I need.  They are both ...
  • Replied in Q2 Dimensions?
B&H Photo has specs on all the equipment they carry - which includes the Q2.
  • $3100 Mint condition Summilux-M 50. Ships with front & rear caps. Like new. Functions perfectly and has no marks or issues. Price includes shipping CONUS. Payable by: PayPal, Venmo, Zelle.... ...
  • I think it's unnecessary.  That's what a custom-function button can be used for.  I use the FN button for exactly that.
  • My advice, on any un or underused equipment is, sell it. If you need something Leica, you can trade it in to any one of several locations.  Including Leica stores.
  • Opinions vary depending... Those with Monochrome dedicated cameras believe that the images are better there.  Most others that have done professional comparisons, including me,  see no difference ...
  • No. As a commercial photographer, color (most of the time), is essential.  I shoot everything JPG- B&W so I have it, and obviously, color is easily converted while B&W can't be.
  • Well sir, then I guess you haven't read all the posts.  Many of us have advised rethinking, or at least reevaluating, the OP's options.  At least one advised staying with his/her Fuji.
  • Well, for me, that's about $1240 USD plus $1000 for the refit and assuming everything goes well, you'll have about $2500 in the package with taxes, shipping, parts.....waiting for the repair..... ...
  • First I believe you're looking for a reason to buy a used, older-model camera. Lusting after a camera is not the best reason to buy a tool that has one specific purpose - to help you take ...
  • Tiffen, Hoya, B+W, Leica...... I have success with all of them.  The only Leica filters I have are ones that came with lens purchases.  I would stay away from the cheapest but 39mm filters aren't ...
  • Yes. A MATE, being slow, manual focus, no OIS.... would be the antithesis of the Q system which, is lightweight, fast, and autofocus. Anyone wanting something similar to this should just buy a ...
