TBLF: Potentially worse than just the ads is the QUALITY of the ads. They need to vet their ads better than MSN and FB currently do, to not just avoid click bait, but worse yet, riddled with malware and bot's. I'm on a FB & Instagram strike at the moment and haven't logged into either in almost a year. Feels great having more free time, and not being bombarded with nonsense.

Hell, yes! Quitting FB many years ago was one of the best decisions I've made.

Yeah, well, you're sheep. Baaaaaaah. IG is trash.

You know how to fix IG? Delete it.

They have to make a life or death decision in a split second. Try doing their job; I bet it's harder than you think.

xPhoenix: I can't take any software seriously that doesn't have an option to correct chromatic aberration. This program is great because the GUI is a lot like LR. However, no CA correction; no deal.

I will keep watching and eagerly waiting. Please, please, please give me an excuse to dump Adobe.

Simply amazing!

At this point, I don't care what Nikon does with their ML line. I shoot with a D850 and 500PF. Nothing can compare to this, especially the IQ and reach vs size/weight.

The 200-500 was more money when it was new. The new Sony is $2K, not double. I used the 200-5oo for a few years, and it's a great lens, but Sony is no longer lacking the big teles.

Cool artwork, but not photography. Maybe he should move to Flickr; it's better than 500px, anyway.

Maybe if you're talking about F-mount where there is a huge selection, but native Z glass is almost nonexistent. Those Sony GM lenses are easily as good as, or better than, Nikon's F glass. Take the new Sony 200-600. I'm betting it's going to be better than Nikon's 200-500.

Uh, the people could fight back, instead of being killed and run over in the streets.

I stopped reading after you said American cops are cowards. That's absolutely ridiculous. It's not their fault that thug criminals cannot follow simple directions. Pull a gun on a cop, get shot. It's pretty easy to understand.

Almost isn't good enough at these prices. Wait until the next-gen Sonys come out. Nikon will be left looking like the red-headed stepchild again. Hey, I love my Nikon DSLR, but it's clear Sony beats them in ML.

Thematic: Hmmm. Stunned.

Didn't know Sony was that far ahead.

Interesting.

Yet Nikon charges MORE than Sony for gear that is generations behind. No wonder they aren't selling.

Too bad Sony will be releasing Gen 4 cameras. Canikon will always be second or third best because they'll always be playing catch up.

xPhoenix: It's a nice attempt by Nikon, but the usual Youtube reviewers have tested this and shown that Sony's eye AF blows away Nikon and Canon.

Wait, I thought everyone said the adapter was totally perfect? Maybe he'll redo it with native lenses, but I suspect it'll be the same thing. Canon and Sony are simply generations behind Sony. It's as simple as that. Sony's gen 4 cameras will widen that gap even further. Canikon is still bush league when it comes to MILCs.

Are you serious? Take a look at Venezuela. I bet the citizens there wish they had guns and rifles right about now.

If you don't like the 2A, take it up with the founding fathers. We wouldn't even have our independence if it weren't for guns.

Cops fire until the threat is stopped. It's not like on TV where they fire one bullet and the bad guy is instantly dead. Doesn't work that way.

Max Iso: Not surprising, everybody knew Nikon was going to improve on this. And it shows how serious they are to being top dog. Sony's first gen A7 didn't even have eye AF, FW update or otherwise and here we are with Nikon's first gen moving along at record pace.

We might see another drastic FW improvement on this first gen, followed by a 2nd gen that surpasses all other ML. Quite a feat to take top spot on the 2nd gen with all others are much further into their product lines. Bravo Nikon, although im still sticking with MFT.

Slower AF, maybe not as reliable AF, extra bulk and weight, ugly as sin. I personally see no reason to adapt a lens to Z when it works perfectly well on F. Nikon should release an F-mount MILC. I bet they would sell more of those than the Z.

Nikon has no native long glass for the Z, and none is planned for a long time. The Z system will not turn out to be king any time soon.

Nikon's MILCs are in high school while Sony's are in grad school. The gen 4 Sonys will really embarrass Canikon (as if they haven't been embarrassed enough already).

It's a nice move on Nikon's part, but they are still well behind Sony. So is Canon. Anyone who is serious about mirrorless should just buy a Sony now, or wait for years until Canikon refines their product. I'm happy using my DSLR. By the time I need to upgrade, all the dust will have settled.
