Melinium: Great camera, i can't wait for the reviews on the real thing, i hope that DPReview will be faster this time, they took one year and half to review the D810.

Maybe that's because the D810 was just a D800 minus some flaws?

Biowizard: Filters over the SENSOR?! C'mon, these things live over the front element of your lens (or in the case of some extreme fisheyes, cats and telephotos) somewhere in the body in a dedicated slot.

Buy if you must - or just get real, and head into deep country when you want to photograph the stars!

I agree, except astro-photographers don't use lenses, so where do you put the filter?

How many times did you receive an electric shock from the flash capacitor? It happened to me a couple of times tearing down compact cameras. Most unpleasant.

The correct French is "Il y a une couille dans le potage", you missed the "a".

Wye Photography: Well, I suppose the advantage of being a crap photographer is that I don't have this problem. LOL.

So, there you go. Go crap in a big way and never have one of your images stolen ever again!

This is all very subjective, I personally really don't like his pictures... I went on his website and I prefer your dpreview gallery TBH.

Don't worry, I flew out of Antarctica last week, I was very careful not to miss the plane :)

Great !

That is definitely the kind of things that would make me switch from Nikon to Canon!
Extended hardware life, that's what it is, would be a fantastic plus!

Greg_Mac: Fuji X10 not yet ?

Fuji X10 RAW files are very specific to EXR sensors, I don't see Apple supporting this format in the near future.
