All that money spent on a camera and lens, I'm sure he/she could have afforded a Pelicase or some other brand of protective hard case...

I was very sorry to hear about the sad demise of Bowens.
Reading about the way the employees are being treated is not nice. I understand that Bowens were taken over by another organisation and are no longer a stand alone company.
It's time for the parent company to stand up and do what's right for the staff and to show a bit of corporate responsibility.
Unfortunately I doubt it will happen.

On article Ten things we're hoping for from the Nikon D850 (482 comments in total)

A smaller body is subjective. Maybe I have big hands, but the size and heft of the D810 suits me. I consider many modern cameras to be to small, especially with a big piece of glass on the front. The D810 and 24-70 F2.8 make a well balanced combination.
A more rugged body with enhanced weather sealing would be nice, not that it's predecessor was a slouch in this department. But the D850 will be the primary tool for many professionals, for many others it will be used alongside the D5. Why not give it that tough D5 build quality?
