I shoot this lens mostly at 2.8. Outstanding lens. Best lens I ever had (apologies to Fury).
All I can say is my 2015 i7, 16GB RAM MBP is starting to have "issues" with my photo software. Am thinking I can live with a notch for much improved performance.

The 35 1.8 is a nice lens - sharp, but good OOF areas. Different from lenses like my 28 1.4 and CV 40 1.2. Photos didn't sell me on why 24-200 over my 24-70 2.8 for most things.
